Interestingly enough, The Dominion at Panther Creek sits across Eldorado from the famed Brinkmann Ranch, a rich gem in Frisco’s history. Once boosting over 5,500 acres, this working ranch is known for breeding premier halter, cutting and racehorses, as well as the large Black Angus and Longhorn cattle operation. Previously called the Cloyce Box Ranch, this historic property was the set of the original Dallas TV series before the show moved to the Parker, TX location.
In January of 2018, the City of Frisco approved purchase of 390 acres of the Brinkmann Ranch for development of new parks and athletic fields. City plans for the parks include fields for baseball, softball, football, soccer, and cricket fields, as well as a dog park, skate park, batting cages and other special purpose parks.
Other near-by activities include downtown Frisco and the Rail District, Toyota Stadium and The Star in Frisco for live sports and concerts, plus plenty of award-winning dining and shopping just about anywhere you look.
For golfers, The Dominion at Panther Creek is very close to the new PGA headquarters which just broke ground at 380 & NTTA. The PGA Headquarters is scheduled for completion in 2022 and will include two championship golf courses which are slated for numerous national golfing events
